Policies and Procedures

Private and Voluntary organisations in Newham are encouraged to complete this Section 11 audit:

It provides assurance for organisations and the NSCP as to the effectiveness of safeguarding in each organisation. It is a very useful checklist set out across 6 standards and provides an action plan of what needs to be done where the standard is not met.

They will provide advice, guidance and help to determine whether the allegation sits within the scope of the procedures.

The LADO helps co-ordinate information-sharing with the right people and will also monitor and track any investigation, with the aim to resolve it as quickly as possible.
