A model of practice, values and services when working with Young Women and Girls Affected by Gangs and County Lines

Introduction to Solution Focused Practice, a cornerstone of our approach to working with young women.

Exploration and challenges of stereotypes and myths around young women, gangs and county lines, and facilitate a critical discussion of the term “gang”.

Address the risks young women face, and the barriers to them accessing support.

Share the ideal knowledge, skills and attitudes young women tell us they want professionals to have.

Enhancing understanding of how young women and girls are affected by gangs and county lines, what stops them getting help, and how to respond.

Non-attendance Policy

Please note that there is a non-attendance policy currently in place. There will be a charge of £100.00 (£50.00 for half day courses) for non-attendance if cancellation does not occur 5 working days before the event or replaced by another representative from your agency. All charges recuperated will be directed back into the training budget. If you are employed outside of the London Borough of Newham, please provide the name and contact details for your finance team.
