By the end of the training, participants will have:

Revisit understanding of the Prevent Duty and processes and pathways

Explore how exposure to extremism is a safeguarding matter and the different levels of emotional harm

Consider how to identify exposure to extremism

Awareness of how to gain effective engagement with children exposed to extremism and with their parents

Consider how to work with effectively to reduce risk and strengthen child’s resilience and parenting capacity to meet the emotional and other needs of a child exposed to extremism

Exploring range of solutions and interventions to reduce possibility or impact of exposure to extremism
