**Cancelled** Safeguarding & Disruption (Child trafficking, modern slavery & exploitation) Module 3

9th February 2022 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm GMT

Free

Baackground

In module 3 we focus on what our response as practitioners should be. We start by outlining the National Referral Mechanism (the NRM) and relevant safeguarding processes required when we can considered of trafficking or exploitation, including considering best practice about how to make these processes work for children. After this we consider ‘what works’ in safeguarding victims of trafficking, as well as ways to attempt to disrupt trafficking and exploitation. We also consider how we can support victims of trafficking after they have ‘exited’ from their exploitation.

This module is relevant for all practitioners who hold cases of vulnerable children in statutory services
