THIS IS A 2 DAY COURSE, IF YOU BOOK FOR 12TH FEBRUARY YOU WILL BE SENT A CALENDAR INVITE FOR BOTH

12TH AND 13TH FEBRUARY PLEASE ENSURE YOU CAN ATTEND BOTH DAYS.

 

This course moves away from the outdated focus on ‘models of CSE’ and ‘grooming lines’ to take an in-depth look at defining CSE, challenge victim-blaming and understand the impact of trauma and trauma bonds. It explores Criminal Exploration and Gangs and current legislation is used to plan disruption strategies for all agencies.

Target Audience- This training is for frontline professional staff, working directly with young people, including police officers from specialist teams, and staff

or who have a safeguarding lead role in their agency.  Applications for this training must be approved by your agency safeguarding lead to ensure that the right staff across the partnership attend.

Non-attendance Policy

Please note that there is a non-attendance policy currently in place. There will be a charge of £100.00 (£50.00 for half day courses) for non-attendance if cancellation does not occur 5 working days before the event or replaced by another representative from your agency. All charges recuperated will be directed back into the training budget. If you are employed outside of the London Borough of Newham, please provide the name and contact details for your finance team.
