Child Sexual Exploitation – Level 3

Background: This one day training session enables participants to develop a greater awareness of CSE, equipping professionals with tools to develop effective responses. Throughout the training you will be encouraged and supported to consider how your own practice can best address and support children and young people at risk or experiencing CSE.

Training Level: 3

Learning Outcomes:

As a result of the training, you will:

  • Identify risks and indicators for young people experiencing or at risk of CSE
  • Analyse roles of young women linked to gangs and relate to experiences of CSE
  • Recognise opportunities for early intervention
  • Investigate safety planning tools
  • Demonstrate an effective response to disclosure of CSE
  • Contextualise responses to CSE within your local referral process

Non-attendance Policy

Please note that there is a non-attendance policy currently in place. There will be a charge of £100.00 (£50.00 for half day courses) for non-attendance if cancellation does not occur 5 working days before the event or replaced by another representative from your agency. All charges recuperated will be directed back into the training budget. If you are employed outside of the London Borough of Newham, please provide the name and contact details for your finance team.
