Training Level: 3
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the 1 day training, participants will have:
- Revisit understanding of the Prevent Duty and processes and pathways
- Explore how exposure to extremism is a safeguarding matter and the different levels of emotional harm
- Consider how to identify exposure to extremism
- Awareness of how to gain effective engagement with children exposed to extremism and with their parents
- Consider how to work with effectively to reduce risk and strengthen child’s resilience and parenting capacity to meet the emotional and other needs of a child exposed to extremism
- Exploring range of solutions and interventions to reduce possibility or impact of exposure to extremism
