Safeguarding training for semi independent providers and Newham Children’s Homes – Training day 3 – By Invitation Only

The aim is to ensure that all the organisations working with our children and young people have the same shared approach and skill in the effective management of risk and in undertaking safeguarding investigations.

The sessions will be lead by the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) , the CSE and Missing Lead Officer and the Prevent Lead Officer.

All three leads are eager to meet all of you and establish a working relationship so you make best use of what they have to offer.

The course title is Safeguarding training for semi-independent providers and Newham Children’s Homes.

The outline of the course is as follows:

• Safer Organisations including safer recruitment and managing safeguarding investigations
• LADO and new Regulation 7 requirements
• Missing Children- maximising the effectiveness of the risk management tool
• Radicalisation and how we can work together to safeguard our young people

The course will take place on Wednesday 6th December 2017, 1.00 to 4.30pm (registration at 12.45pm)
